Cale is a singer-songwriter currently based in London. Getting his start as the frontman and principal songwriter of Chicago indie-rock band Case, Cale has penned songs like “Days on a Wire”, “Would It Be Enough”, and “Hello, Chicago” that seamlessly merge indie, folk, and country-rock.

On his debut solo album, Passenger (2024), Cale sings of love, heartbreak, and everyday life with a sense of curiosity and wonder. Rather than having all the answers, Cale’s writing lives inside of questions—as if in asking them, something ‘true’ about the world might reveal itself. Whether it be the twangy lead-single, “One Less Night Alone” or retro rock cuts like “American Superstars” and “Whiskey Blues”, Cale’s songwriting displays a sharp ability to tether the particular to the universal, and the intimate to the collective.
